At least it would require a change of the bylaws. Anyway, the question remains: Who is "the community"? BTW, AFAIK the FreeBSD Foundation is set up very similar to Haiku, Inc. Apparently it works for them. I really don't see a reason for "the community" or contributors to meddle with the affairs of the NPO. But that's just my opinion and everyone's entitled to their own.
