Hello, and of course thanks to all for replying,


I am OK with continuing the contract for another 2 months to see what
additional work comes out of it. I haven't really hard a yay/nay from
other Haiku, Inc. members.

Your proposal of 12.5 EUR/hr ends up being approximately $3400 USD for
240 hours (as an aside, we do currently have 1765 EUR in the paypal
account which we could use as partial payment rather than fully in
USD). We do have the funds for this, but I am wondering how much we
should spend on media kit/media player work when there seem to be
other areas of the system that desperately need to be improved so we
can get Haiku into Beta sooner.


As various times said I'm all for putting a few of time into the package
infrastructure, but it will make things easy for me if someone put some
ticket or task. If someone in confidence can "mentor" me for a few days I
think we could get the best result.



I expected to discuss the proposal or receive comments, but it seems it
isn't happening.

I don't see a lot of people chiming in this time around :/

Perhaps further media kit improvements aren't very high on people's
priority list?


It seems to me that users are very happy with the fixes, I received various
comments in irc and site comments.

Regarding the contract I'm willing to start this monday or the next (no
half weeks this time) if there's enough approval for that.
