You do know there is already a Haiku linked-in group out there... right?

https://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=165215

132 users, all relevant to Haiku-os.

groups and companies are a different thing in LinkedIn. Think
"community" vs "members of the project" or something. However I'm not
sure "Haiku, inc" fits, since that would technically only be useable by
contractors (other people only worked for the haiku project).

Yes, community groups and company pages are different things for different
purposes.

Community groups are a form of 'many-to-many' communication, much like web
fourms, Reddit or Twitter.

While company pages are a form of 'one-to-many' communication, which in its
purest form would be along the lines of television, radio and newspapers,
but could also include things like Youtube videos and web blogs.

The Haiku Inc page could be connected to a feed of any future Haiku Inc
publications, announcements or whatever the board wishes, while the
HaikuProject page could be connected to the "Haiku Blog-O-Sphere" RSS feed.

Both the Haiku Inc company page and the HaikuProject page link to the Haiku
community group (https://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=165215), which should
give the group more exposure.

Richard.
