It would take longer, as Haiku's missing some pthread stack-related
functions that Ruby needs (which I don't know how to implement, so I
couldn't fix it anyway).


You may even want to implement it using the Services Kit. Otherwise, I'd
probably choose Python.


I'll investigate both. My Python is pretty rusty, but I might wind up using
it anyway, as it'll be faster to write it in that than in C++.
