Good day, and greetings from Turkey. My name is Emir, and I plan to

Indeed, your contributions will be very welcome!
I spoke with the current coordinator (Anıl), and due to his
unavailability at
the moment, I would like to step up and volunteer myself as another
coordinator (he advised me to send this mail as well).
The permissions for the Turkish language at Pootle are a bit strange: I
see 5 users with the rights to submit translations, none of them are
the two active contributers (bitigchi and ozbekanil).
Since there isn't a Turkish ML or wiki at
https://dev.haiku-os.org/wiki/i18n
, I frankly don't know who is supposed to be "Language manager"...
How about I create the Turkish wiki and mailing list? Then you can
coordinate on that ML and fill in a style guide and terminolgy at the
wiki. The language manager will need to have an account at Trac
(
https://dev.haiku-os.org/).
You'll also need an account at the Pootle site (at I least I don't see
a nick that could be you...). You can start making "Suggestions" at
pootle, then you (or whoever becomes (one of the) language managers)
can later submit them.
Regards,
Humdinger
