Hi Kristian,

2013/12/5, Kristian Poul Herkild <kristian@xxxxxxxxxx>:
It appears, there is no Danish translation team, or anybody responsible
for translating Haiku to Danish.

That's correct. Things tend to run themselves over time... :)
Glad you're interested in the position. :)

Well, somebody's gotta do it, and none can do better than me ;) - or if you want something done right, you got to do it yourself.

If you are interested in having someone taking care of Danish
translations, I don't mind taking the task upon me.

There are two areas for translating:

1) the interface at http://i18n.haiku-os.org/pootle/
There's already an almost 50% complete Danish translation. Register
there and you can start finishing it.

Done. Now I just need to be capable of doing more than suggestions.

2) the user guide at http://i18n.haiku-os.org/userguide/documents.php
There's no Danish translation yet. You'll need account there too.
Registration is a manual process. I'd prefer you start with the
interface translation and if you continue to be motivated to tackle
the user guide, you'll get contact again.

I'll look at that in due time. My first priority is the interface, since this is what the user (that'll be me) will primarily see.
