I finally managed to found the problem. As usual, the error was
obvious and stupid.
So, here is a working version of the patch, allowing easy editing of
the collected strings in a text file before linking them into a real
catalog.
This patch can now be applied... if I didn't mess up with the style
guidelines, of course.
