Great, go ahead!
I always postponed working on Mail, because a) I was too lazy and b) I
kept waiting if someone worked on improvements, esp. query integration.
But it can't hurt to get started and maybe adjust things when new
features arrive.
What I'd suggest is to limit that document to the functions of the app
and not so much on using mail under Haiku in general. That could be
described in a workshop-like page to show how queries etc. are
incorporated.
I always wanted to document some formatting conventions, but never got
to it. I'll try to work on that. Until then, try to emulate what's
already there, I guess.
