IMHO: Yes. The MIT license is compatible with the GPL, which means you can
include MIT licensed work in GPL licensed distributions. The availability of
these icons under the GPL does not affect the availability of the same icons
under MIT. However, you could not take any of the additional icons, nor any
derivate icons based on original MIT-licensed-icons, and include them back in
Haiku under the MIT license.
