headers/private/kernel/boot: Used by the boot loader. The boot loader can't use libroot, so itimplements its own stdio functionality. I'm not sure the header is reallyneeded, though.
+1 for keeping it. It should better reflect which functions are actually available though. While the POSIX one would do the same job compilation-wise it doesn't give the developer any clues which subset she can choose from.
