The world belongs to the brave (or incredibly stupid ;-) ...

Since I have no emotional attachment towards my Vista partition, I figured I
give it a try:

-> mkfs -t bgs /dev/disk/ata/0/master/raw Walter
DiskSystem...
--- got ... from add-on "intel"
BPartition::Delegate::InitAfterHierachy(): Failed to create partition handle
for partition 0. disk system: "Intel Partition Map": Invalid Argument
Error: A problem occured preparing the device for themodifications
->

(btw, the missing blank is no typo)

Any other ideas on how to get the partition or device initialized?

Cheers,
Rossi
