what is the problem, to switch to a new compiler, why not make a new
branch in haiku and add a new open source gcc like 7 .. 8 ... 10.

Haiku have no paying users and office he need 100% comatibility, so we
can reseache the the haiku os.
By the way, no one needs haiku at 32 bit version, Haiku must going
with the time, this means not for the hipsatrs but for the techstars,
so only one cpu at time he make sens is x86_64.
The last 5 years haiku make pkg's and for a dieing system, r5
compatibility and gcc2 on 32 bit x86 is NOT the future.
So what is the problem in haiku development? pleas ask your self.
