My main concern with that is that we are not all happy with the BColorControl as cloned from BeOS, and we might prefer to make use of the modified Colors! color picker that is used in Icon-O-Matic. Colors! is an application written by Werner Freytag that is modeled after Adobe Photoshop's color picker (well the one from 2001.) The source code was released a while ago and Stephan modified and fixed it up a bit for WonderBrush, which is what Icon-O-Matic is based on. We were discussing Werner's recent release of the source code for all his old BeOS applications, and Stephan mentioned that it might make sense to use his modified Colors! control instead of BColorControl (I think, or someone else mentioned it.) Anyhow, maybe Stephan can provide more info about that, but maybe for now you can find another ticket to work on? There should still be plenty of GUIs in Haiku that could use the layout system. Just run Haiku at size 18 font and you will see them :) Regards, Ryan
