The driver can be used directly as device via fd and ioctl (see avalible
ioctl`s in parallel_driver.h) and as a simple example its our Parallel port
printer transport addon, now it seems working( I tested it on vmware on PC
wchich have an physical parallel port, and transport addon detected it, so pity
what dont have any device for testing). Stephan, Im fully agree with you what
code have style violations and not documented, I will be working on it, and
hope someone too, but now I provided that driver "as is" for more people can
use and test it.
P.S.Scottmc asked about serial driver, thinking about looking at it...
