Don't worry. No one is going to close this topic. I'd instead ask

Please stop these conspiracy theories. Sending an announcement about your
project is appropriate. Discussing the details should rather be done on
your project own mailing lists.

Conspiracy theories? I am just asking why projects like that were discussed
so many times in past and it seems a problem now, I can only think of a
personal attack. Seriously, do I have another answer? I am even an Haiku
developer, not a random person, so I don't have the right to discuss
possible variations of the project where I am involved and I have commit
access? Sorry guys, doesn't make any sense what you are doing. I am going
to tell you that I am very afraid and this does only show why there are
only a few people remaining to develop this OS.

Moreover, this is the development mailing list, and at least at first, you
are going to get mostly entry level comments and queries, so this list is
not the best one.

And yes it was probably an error to send the email to both mailing lists.
However it seems people continue to reply, I can't do much.

Don't you think the question would not even be posed if you weren't here
arguing it is a problem to discuss a possible kernel switch? The thread
would die naturally in a few days and everything would return back as
normal.
