I don't know if you follow the commits mailing list or not, but in
case not, this thread was preceded by similar hostility on the commits
list as regards some commit reviews pointing out issues, and he's been
similarly combative in the past if anyone dared point out valid
problems in his code. Starting off with having built up that kind of
reputation in the past wasn't really doing him any favors here, since
he'd pretty much already burned his bridges with almost everybody else
at this point.
