There are people doing work on that side as well. Thanks to kallisti5
(again) and the new sysadmin team we have the infrastructure in place
now, and waddlesplash is hard at work fixing various things and pinging
other devs and making sure they stay focused on release-related tasks.
Not having an R1 release is a choice. We set ambitious goals and we hold
to them. I don't see this as a problem, there are many projects using
unusual versionning schemes and this does not change anything to the
project activity.
Not having any release at all for the last 6 years however, is really a
problem and we should fix that. But the beta is getting near, fortunately.
