though. The actual release should be gcc2h, and even if we make x86_64
officially available, we need to state clearly that it cannot provide
the full experience at this point, as it won't be able to run old
software, as there is no 32-bit compatibility layer.
Having people choose between two imperfect solutions is just not a
good idea IMO, and may be very confusing for many.
The reason I got onboard with PulkoMandy's "two arch" release idea is
because people are already trained that 32-bit binaries won't always
work on 64-bit operating systems.
