Are you guys looking for any further feedback on RC2? I have it installed in
VirtualBox - not sure if you're just interested in actual physical hardware
installations.
If you do want feedback just say, and point me to where best to send it.
Thanks!

The software updater does not work in this release. Here is a

This should now be fixed on the server, just run SoftwareUpdater again and
it should now work.
Indeed, it works on RC2 :) Thanks!
ps. I put copies of the installers/ISO at:) perfect. Just thought you might save some bandwidth. Even though wasabi
https://mirrors.tnonline.net/?dir=haiku/haiku-release/r1beta2 I hope
that's OK =)
Yes, that's fine; once the final release is out we can add you to the
mirrors list. :)

might be cheaper than most, it is still not free as far as I know?

I was pretty strategic choosing wasabi and writing the rust "object storage
redirector"
https://github.com/haiku/hpkgbouncer
Haiku pays for storage used at wasabi, not bandwidth.
(Wasabi has some "special" rules like upload a 1GiB file twice, or rename a
1GiB file, and you've used "2GiB" for 3 months.)
We can also switch to any other s3-style object storage at any time.
Anyway, no bandwidth worries :-)
