Well, the Installer offers to run DriveSetup which is what takes care of
this.

1024x768, the mouse pointer goes mad. Reboot didn't fix this. I'm using

This is probably a VirtualBox bug. Try using a USB Tablet pointing device.
- PCnet III NIC set to NAT wouldn't get a DHCP IP address. Swapping to
the Intel Desktop NIC worked instantly.
This is actually a known VirtualBox bug that the developers refuse to fix;
they "worked around" it by setting the default network adapter for FreeBSD
to be the Intel one. But of course they refuse to create a profile for
"Haiku", so yes, you have to set it manually. (The guide on the website
will tell you the same thing.)
