I can't say anything about James' approach and hope our more knowledgable devs could give their opinion or point out potential pitfalls. How does "Drafter" fit into Stippi's article about compositing [1]? To me it sounds like "Drafter" is a step in the right direction wrt a modern and powerful "window manager", esp. if one day 3d acceleration can be bolted into it. Go Duggan! :) Regards, Humdinger [1] http://www.haiku-os.org/articles/2011-06-15_how_transform_app_server_code_use_compositing --=-=--=-=--=-=--=-=--=-=--=-=--=-=--=-=--=-=--=- Deutsche Haiku News - Haiku Gazette http://haiku-gazette.blogspot.com
