[haiku-development] gcc4 app in 3rdparty on hybrid gcc2/gcc4 build possible?

Hi,
let's suppose I have a build setup, which basically builds a ggc2 based
Haiku with gcc4 libs installed. Now I want to include an application in
3rdparty, which requires gcc4. Is it possible to do this without
switching the entire build to gcc4? If yes, what would I need to do to
explicitly have this application compiled with gcc4?
If this is not possible, is the gcc4 build stable enough to be trusted
as main system?
