Good news! Our latest binutils patches have been accepted upstream.

This means upstream binutils should be 1:1 what we have in our buildtools
repository as of today.
Nothing should really change from a process standpoint, it's still good that we
maintain our own fork of binutils to let us "test and bake" changes... however
updating our binutils code in the future should become a lot easier with less
patching.
I think waddlesplash had some plans to upstream our gcc changes... but that's
going to be a lot more complex :-)
