Ah, thank you for reminding me on this! :) I strayed away from my initial
post. I have no realistic chance of changing how Haiku is implemented. I'm
just saying I'm going to offer an alternative based on Linux (or BSD in the
end, that particular switch isn't hard) since Haiku is apparently still 1.5
to 2 years away. I don't want to or need to wait that long.
