Of the few people who did respond (both in this thread and commenting to the stack & tile commits in trunk), there was concern about coding violations. So, addressing that seems to be a good next step, even if it's checking out the stack-and-tile branch, making patches for it, and submitting them on Trac. Would anyone be willing to periodically merge trunk into this branch (at their request)? In another thread, Axel gave some suggestions: //www.freelists.org/post/haiku-development/Stack-Tile-Review Location of the stack-and-tile branch: http://dev.haiku-os.org/browser/haiku/branches/features/stack-and-tile Coding Guidelines: http://www.haiku-os.org/development/coding-guidelines Style Checkers http://dev.haiku-os.org/browser/haiku/trunk/src/tools/checkstyle -- this is a python script for detecting code style violations. Last I heard it isn't perfect, but it'll be a good start. http://dev.haiku-os.org/wiki/HaikuCodingGuidelinesVIM -- One for vim Sorry that I don't have a better answer. I myself don't have svn permissions, but hopefully this helps. --mmadia
