from Ralf Schülke:
I Thing 2 or 4 GB USB2 Stick are good and works. USB3 ans up, i don't Haiku
can handle this.
I've heard about a USB keyboard in a USB 3.0 port not working with an OS that
didn't support USB 3. But USB 3 has no particular advantage for a keyboard,
since USB 2.0 speed is much higher than even the best typist can keep up with.
Market for USB sticks has largely moved to 3.0 or 3.1, and low capacities, like
1 GB, 2 GB, even 4 GB, are becoming scarce, even for USB 2.0. I guess I need
to go by price, thus if 8 GB costs the same as 4 GB, favor the 8 GB.
I would need USB sticks for initial installations of Haiku and also for Linux
toolchains. I believe Linux toolchains would have no trouble with USB 3.
