There's an nginx config option to pass the origin IP through for
proxied requests.

Thanks all for the report. Nginx was configured correctly, but Trac
does not use the X-Forwarded-For header by default (because it might
be spoofed). In our case we do need to use that ip, so it is
configured that way now.
