Design decisions in user interface are always susceptible
to bikeshedding. But it is still very important to get
these things right.

Just like planning ahead for multiuser is already part
of the "real" work being done, e.g. in the kernel, it
should also be part of the discussion of changes in user
interface. Both are equally important, but only one is
susceptible to bikeshedding.

There is always personal preference, but there is also
good and bad design.

My ambition is primarily to help steer clear of bad
decisions, by discussion. I know discussion can be
tedious, but how can we build things together without
discussion?

I cant silently work on just anything I feel is right
and commit at will, so what remains other than discussion?

/Jonas.
