I definitely notice WebPositive consuming a large amount of CPU and bogging down the system, and while we should certainly improve the scheduler, WebPositive also needs a lot of improvement so that it can run more efficiently and quickly. Some of that will hopefully come in the next months due to Alexandre's contract (not to put undo pressure on him :P ). As one example Web+ does no caching, due to some problems in that area which were causing crashes for Stephan back when he was working on it. So given that it is amazing Web+ isn't even slower. As for your work Julian, while I can admire your interest in fixing more scheduler problems, it might be good to finish up and provide you current patch if you really think it won't fix the other problems you have seen. Or even if further work on that patch would fix those problems, incremental improvements to an already committed patch will be easier for everyone (us and yourself.) -- Regards, Ryan
