Hi Fredrik, Thank you for your suggestion. I cannot use my USB wireless adapter of Realtek 8187b on Haiku. I found a similar bug report on http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/7175. Korli commented that "Unfortunately, the FreeBSD network compatibility layer in Haiku only supports PCI devices as of now and urtw is a driver for USB based devices." I suspect that lack of the urtw driver prevents Haiku from recognizing the adapter. Kind regards, Xianwen On Tue, Jul 16, 2013 at 5:46 PM, <fredrik@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > tethered i don't know about but using hotspot on your phone and connect to > that through wlan should work. > > / / Fredrik > > Sent from my BlackBerry 10-smartphone. > *Från: *Xianwen Chen > *Skickat: *tisdagen den 16:e juli 2013 17:41 > *Till: *haiku-development@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > *Svara till: *haiku-development@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > *Ämne: *[haiku-development] Support for tethered mobile devices > > Hi Haiku developers, > > I tested Haiku both version r1 alpha 4.1 and nightly build of revision > 45860 today.
