It is the fifth day since I posted the patch and still no response.
I'm a big boy, if there's criticism waiting, I can handle it ;-)
The only issue I see with adoption is how to demarcate which version has
these features (i.e. a Haiku version increment is probably needed so
applications can target future Haiku AND past Haiku).
This is why I marked everything as available in Haiku B1 in the
documentation.
