Funny story, in my (unmerged) repo rework I removed the repo url from
the repos themselves.

I'm 1000% onboard with a UUID in the repos (it was one of my goals).
That's great.
The way it is modeled in HDS [1] (pink right-hand-side) the repositories
have "respository sources". Maybe some such structure would make sense
for storing the URLs?
In any case, that's good –– I will add an "identifier" field to the
repository entity in HDS and in that way, once you have the "identifier"
field in the operating-system side, it should be possible for me to more
accurately correlate those and also accommodate future mirrors. :-)
