Agreed.

And some words of policy: I'd appreciate if all commits to the r1b1
branch go through Gerrit review, and there are no direct pushes to the

OK, I'll try to keep that in mind for the more significant changes, at least.

We need to send announcement at least 1 month before release date, so
that people can schedule some time for a testing run on all their
hardware (and their friends/colleagues/etc).

Well, let's do it this weekend and quit delaying then. :)

The only major changeset that I think we could still stand to merge is
jessicah's support for hybrid EFI+MBR loaders in the build system. But
even this isn't imperative, as we can already do this manually via a
sequence of commands.

Let's just build an UEFI image manually for the beta, and distribute it
alongside the anyboot.

kallisti5's came up with a command sequence to add the EFI loader to
anyboot images. Actually I think we could tweak the buildbot to do
this for us.
