yes hg in Haiku is working nicely.  I have a few repositories on my
FreeBSD machine that I cloned in haiku and push back to.  BeZilla's hg
repo on osdrawer was made in Haiku and I maintain Build-O-Matic with
hgsvn -- a 3rdparty tool for keeping a working svn repo inside hg.

Originally there were some issues with hgsvn on Haiku, but the dev has
fixed them in newer reivisions.   Though I'm not sure if the disk
consumption is optimal due to BFS not supporting hard links.
