Actually, following up on this ticket, Chris has confirmed that MacBook's need manufactuer 0x8086, device ID 0x27c4 "Intel ICH7-M (AHCI mode)" added to add-ons/kernel/busses/scsi/ahci/ahci.c to boot. It's registered in the PCI device database (http://www.pcidatabase.com/vendor_details.php?id=1302), and even he Linux /FreeBSD worlds have also added this ID to their ahci drivers (refernce http://www.mail-archive.com/linux-ide@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/msg03657.html). Is there any reason why this patch wasn't added to Haiku ahci.c file?
