Also, not sure where you download your ubuntu's from, but I just
checked and the stock 32bit desktop version of 11.04 is 685mb.

Not sure where I grabbed the last one. It did have a bunch of libs, so its one of the sub distros etc. Really annoying to have to download media codecs etc.
