Hi guys,
In going back and forth between BeOSr5 and Haiku, I noticed that the mouse speed in BeOS is faster by default. Maybe we should adjust this. A faster mouse speed also gives a feel of faster/better performance.
Cheers, and great job all!

I think the default speed should be borderline usable for absolute
beginners,

-1. I like it as-is.

I have a Haiku machine next to me.

Using a standard logitech usb mouse, I can go from screen side to screen side (1600 pixels) in less then a 1" movement.

This seems to all come down to personal preference. (which is why you can adjust the mouse speed on any OS)

Keep in mind that BeOS generally ran at 1024x768 or less.
More pixels == further distance your mouse has to travel.
