Welcome back!  For hardware related bugs like these, it's sometimes
helpful to include the output of listdev.
Seeing as you've done a few ports in the past thought I'd point out
HaikuPorts in case you hadn't already seen it.
http://ports.haiku-files.org  If anyone's interested in working on
porting things to Haiku that's the place to check.

Thanks for the tip too, I had been trying to remember how to get a device listing, although I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want it posted to the list. As for porting code, it's one of my favourite activities in the whole world. Except maybe for writing drivers and kernel code, or building tools. I'm sure Axel knows what I mean there.

Since my reputation has apparently preceded me, I might even go direct and ask for svn write access at berlios.de. It would sure keep my mind off being poor and unemployed to be able to work on this stuff for a few hours a day. Besides, it's coming on to winter here, the local bars have no girl in them.
