[haiku-development] New PPC build available.. and questions about its execution.

Good morning!

There is a new PowerPC Haiku build available (r32480) on
http://unixzen.com/haiku-ppc/ which includes the fixes from r32067 and
r31708.

The boot loader now successfully(?) copies the kernel into memory but locks
up while calling arch_start_kernel
(system/boot/platform/openfirmware/arch_start_kernel.S) to jump to it.

Any one know anyway this can be troubleshot? I've run readelf on the
kernel but it does not turn anything obvious up, my best guess is that the
kernel is not getting properly copied to memory, or there is something
wrong with the ppc kernel elf. I know PPC PCI is incomplete, but as a
minimum we should be reaching execution of the kernel code.

Has the PPC kernel ever been successfully started on Apple PPC hardware?

Thanks!
