Hi there!
Recently some changes by Dancsó Róbert were committed [1] to DriveSetup
. Nice!
I plan to update the user guide accordingly and have a few quick
questions:
Is the "shared" icon meant for volumes that are shared via SMB/NFS
etc.?
About the colours of the volume space bars, did I get this right?
green - BFS volumes
blue - non-BFS volumes
red - read-only non-BFSvolumes (read-only BFS get an icon instead.
Feels like a bug to me...)
Are there more colours?
Now a bit of bikeshedding people can ignore if they prefer... :)
I'm not totally happy with all icons.
I created a New/Old mockup: https://0x0.st/zWMW.png
I think the lock symbol (Action_Logout) is more appropriate for
"encrypted".
If "shared" is supposed to be SMB/NFS, Jua's SMB client icon fits
better than the server icon.
The "read-only" icon is the StyledEdit pen with a more slender "X".
I left the "virtual" (for mounted disk images) with the generic File
icon; could be changed to the generic Volume cabinet icon instead.
Regards,
Humdinger
