This could actually be done by adding a a few fields (ie., Brief bio,
past projects, etc.) to the user profiles on the website, incuding for
example, locative data, so that we could have a map of the developers
like this one:

http://norcal-hug.org/?q=map/user

If this is something that we want to pursue, it can be done.
