Hello everyone,
I have been seriously using Haiku for only a short time, so I am not very
experienced with the OS, but I am learning. I have been experimenting with
alternative operating systems for a long time, I have a long list of
operating systems that I have tried. For my daily activities I have been
using Linux, however, I am now switching over to using Haiku for my day to
day activities, and even for work.
I would like to start contributing to Haiku. I am mainly a hobbyist
programmer. I have taken a few college classes on computer science and
programming. I have also written small tools for use at work, mainly for
automated software testing. I also worked for a short time as a programmer
in a small company, but could not continue work because the company failed
shortly after. On my own time I mainly write small games, both 2D and 3D. I
believe clean and efficient code is very important. I know C, C++, basic
Java (although I always avoid using Java), and I am planning on learning
assembly.
I would like a small task that I can work on to contribute to Haiku OS. So
can you think of any task that would be good for me to work on? My main
experience is in game development, so maybe something along those lines, but
I am more than willing to take on any task that needs work.

Thank you.
