Since the launch daemon files are just text files, you could append some
extra jobs when you build
a test target.

Hm. I was kind of hoping that we could just "run the tests on any image". That
way we could
quickly regression test nightlies.
I guess we could build "test images" which fire off our unit tests from the
launch daemon and
log their progress to syslog. We could then locally "build test images, and run
our regression suite"
We would need a lot of improvements to our unit tests though (and the ability
to pack them
into an image via hpkg.) haiku_testing.hpkg anyone? :-)
