OK, we have two leaves, I think:

B_COMMAND = the blue Dekbar leaf
B_OPTION = the yellow AboutSystem leaf

Leaves (oh, pun!) the other modifiers:

B_CONTROL = ?
B_SHIFT = probably an up-arrow ⇧

OTOH, I think not using bitmaps but characters instead would be nice.
It's localizable and, even better, user customizable. People could not
just drag the modifier symbols to the keys they want, but even change
the symbols themselves. E.g. (may need bigger font size)

CMD             OPT             CTL
♛               ♜               ♟
☮               ☯               ☸
♺               ⚙               ☉
♠               ♣               ♦
▣               ◉               ◈

Or use normal letters corresponding to their physical keyboard, like,
say CMD, OPT, CTL, SHFT.

Regards,
Humdinger
