Hello everyone!
Being in the event calendar on the top left of the Haiku front page for
about half a year, it surely isn't a surprise: We'll have another
BeGeistert conference from September 13th to 19th. That includes the
Coding Sprint week where all interested programmers can work together
in a concentrated effort. The actual main BeGeistert event is of course
as always on that week-end, early arrivers can use the conference room
as of the evening of Friday 13th.
As usual, the event takes place at the Youth Hostel in
Düsseldorf/Germany which also offers cheap and decent accommodation.
Registration is now open at the BeGeistert website[1], you'll find more
information there and in the Haiku event calendar[2].
With the package management[3] coming along so nicely due to the
currently running contracts, this BeGeistert may mark Haiku's
transition into beta stage. Join us in celebrating and heaving its big
lump over the last hurdles!
