Dear Haiku developers and users, on behalf of the Haiku Support Association I'd like to invite everyone to the 28th BeGeistert in Düsseldorf, Germany. The main event is held on the weekend of 25th/26th of October 2014 followed by a code sprint until Thursday 30th. Besides the usual mingling of users and developers - at times over an assortment of beverages - we'll have a few presentations on the agenda. Sia Long, who apparently has forked Haiku to use a Linux or BSD kernel, has announced himself to present and discuss his findings. Ithamar Adema will show off the progress of the ARM port and Adrien Destugues has offered to talk about his contract work on WebKit and WebKit2. The agenda is open for additional items, so if anyone wants to prepare another presentation or workshop, we'd be happy to include that in the program. While it's been announced for some time on Haiku's event calendar [1], now the registration has opened. Go to the BeGeistert.org website [2] to book the BeGeistert weekend and accommodation at the youth hostel where the event will be held. See the FAQ [3] for more info. We're all looking forward to seeing many of you at BeGeistert!
