I'm sorry I did not introduce myself earlier. My name is Abhinandan. I am
doing my B.Tech Information Technology in the SSN College of Engineering,
Chennai,India. I would like to do a project with haiku as a part of GSoC
2012.

I have created a list of features that I am planning to implement as a part
of the tracker add-on. I feel that a tracker add-on will be the easiest way
to access and so i have included a lot in that list. Since my experience
with git has been greater I would like to start with a git add-on.

I am also planning to provide a direct connection to the user's haiku trac
account, so that the patches can be directly uploaded to the appropriate
ticket. The other alternative to this will be to send this patch by email.
Also, I thought of implementing the patch reader on the haiku trac website.
This way users can view their patches on their computer with ease and
checking if the code follows the coding guidelines becomes a lot easier.

As for the icon overlays I have created a few badges (like the tick and
cross) that will be appended to the file/folder icon. If the badge cannot
be directly appended I am planning to get the Icon from the tracker and
merge it with the badge. I have planned to sync the folder with the remote
repository once when internet connection is available and every time the
user makes changes. After this I will update the icons folders and files
according to the state of the remote repository.

I have made a draft of my proposal. Can I share it in the group?
