Hi,
as suggested on the kernel mailing list (http://sourceforge.net/
mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=20100304162144.469.2%40knochen-vm.
localdomain&forum_name=open-beos-kernel-devel, where I first published
this inquiry) I post the essential content here, too:

I'd like to increase the syslog_buffer_size to 1024000 (~ 1 MB)
(currently 64 KiB) for the purpose of getting rid of the DROP and TRUNC
messages when inspecting syslog of WiFi-driver systems. This would make
debugging Wifi issues a lot easier, as the syslogs can be directly used
instead of requesting to increase the syslog_buffer_size first to get a
new syslog.

The syslog_max_size, would stay untouched (512 KB atm) though, to respect
the attachment limit on Trac, as pointed out on the kernel mailing list.

Kind Regards
-Colin
