Speaking for myself, this probably can't make enough for a gsoc project:
Implemented features seem on par with FreeBSD for instance.
Most needed is bug fixing, but this is difficult to mentor and to evaluate.

Yes, I discussed this with cruxbox on IRC and wasn't sure of the status,
so I told them to ask you here about the current state of things. I will
remove ext4 from the ideas list, then. We are not lacking filesystem
tasks with the BFS resizing, btrfs and xfs, and experimenting with
Apple's NTFS code, anyway :)
