What do you mean by a "native word processor"? Haiku provides a Texlive
package, which would provide all the word processing capabilities that you
would ever need.

What are you doing on this mailing list then? If you have that kind of
attitude, then leave.
Ignoring emotion here (as it’s usually impossible to interpret the emotive
intent of an email) and assuming the OP was being sincere rather than trolling,
I can’t imagine Haiku is seriously being targeted as a replacement desktop O/S
for Enterprise or even a replacement for Windows or macOS in the home - even
Linux hasn’t achieved that. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t have any use cases
however.
For me, I run three Raspberry Pi’s and the only word processor I use on them is
Nano. :)
If Haiku could be used on Raspberry Pi’s as a classroom O/S to teach
programming, a penetration testing O/S as an alternative to Kali, or an IoT O/S
so I could run Homebridge on it, I would be more than happy. :)
If Haiku could run a rock-solid web server, email server, file server - or an
other type of server - I would be even more happy.
Finally, if Haiku could find a niche in the same way that AmigaOS did in
nineties video and television production, that, I’m sure, would be the icing on
the cake.
